The Red Deer Sword Transport Revenge improved their Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League junior B tier 2 record to 5-4-1 with a 10-8 win over the host Strathmore Venom Sunday.
The Revenge, who sit third in their league category, got a six-point performance from Ryan Svederus, who notched two goals and added four assists. Bradeden Krips and Levi Whitney also turned in two-goal efforts — with Whitney also contributing two assists — while single markers were scored by Karsten Banack, Kane Weik, Colton Woytas and Ryan Strome.
Sam Simenson picked up the win in the Red Deer net.
The Revenge take on the Renegades in an all-Red Deer contest Friday at 8:30 p.m. at the Kinex.
