The Rimbey Spartans edged the Lindsay Thurber Raiders 20-19 in Central Alberta High School Girls’ Rugby League play on Monday.
Birdy Wiess had a pair of tries for the Spartans with Erin Holman and Annissa Lukocs adding one each.
Jacki Housten, Nicole McIntyre and Brynne Cline had tries and Emaly Newton two converts for LTCHS.
In other girls’ action, Notre Dame downed Hunting Hills 45-5.
