Water levels are rising and falling in the Red Deer River Basin.
A flood watch has been issued for the Little Red Deer River, a downgrade from the earlier flood warning this week. A high stream flow advisory is in effect for the Red Deer River downstream of the Dickson Dam. The Clearwater River in the North Saskatchewan River Basin has a high stream flow advisory in effect. The status is unchanged with water levels subsiding.
Anyone situated close to streams affected is advised to be cautious of the rising levels. Stream levels are rising or are expected to rise rapidly and no major flooding is expected. Minor flooding in low-lying areas is possible.
