RCMP in Saskatchewan say they have charged a man with murder following the death of a 13-month-old boy.

PARADISE HILL, Sask. — RCMP in Saskatchewan say they have charged a man with murder following the death of a 13-month-old boy.

Police say they found the boy unconscious and not breathing when they responded to a 9-1-1 call at a home in Paradise Hill, Sask., last Tuesday afternoon.

The child was rushed to hospital in Lloydminster and later airlifted to Saskatoon, but he died on Wednesday.

Police say an autopsy on Thursday determined it was a homicide, but they’re not releasing how the child died.

Allen Charles Davidson, 38, has been charged with second-degree murder and will appear in court today in Lloydminster.

Paradise Hill is located approximately 250 kilometres northwest of Saskatoon.
