EDMONTON — An 81-year-old Edmonton school bus driver has been charged after the bus he was driving hit a light standard, injuring a young girl.
Police say the bus was in a turning lane and travelled across a busy intersection into oncoming traffic. The driver has been charged with making an improper turn and investigators have turned the file over to the Alberta Transportation Safety Board to review the man’s drivers license.
Police say the driver, whom they did not identify, was not injured.
