School’s Oz production was wonderful

I want to give kudos to the staff and students of Notre Dame High School, especially those directly involved in the production of the musical The Wizard of Oz. I attended the opening night’s performance on Thursday and was very impressed with the whole play!

I want to give kudos to the staff and students of Notre Dame High School, especially those directly involved in the production of the musical The Wizard of Oz. I attended the opening night’s performance on Thursday and was very impressed with the whole play!

For me, with my mechanical interest and background, it was technical aspects that blew me away, especially the “magic” arrangement for the Good Witch and the Wicked Witch to suddenly appear and disappear (in a cloud of theatrical smoke) at the top of a stairway! I was also pleased with the music and costumes, the singing and dancing, especially of the main characters. It was delightful to see the colourful costumes and feel the energy of the younger children in the play, the Munchkins!

Thank you, Notre Dame for a good show!
