RDC’s Jazz Night on Tuesday will provide some soothing music to help ease the way to spring.
Special guest drummer Karl Schwonik will join college jazz musicians at 7:30 p.m. on the RDC Arts Centre Mainstage.
The first half of the concert will feature the big band sounds of Count Basie, Buddy Rich and more.
The second half will provide entertainment by Schwonik’s jazz ensemble with James Davis on trumpet, Chris Andrew on piano, Kodi Hutchinson on bass, Rémi Bolduc and/or Mike Murley on sax.
Tickets are $14.50 ($11.20 students/seniors) from the Black Knight Ticket Centre.
