Justin Foley, 8, left, and his cousin Jackson Foley, 9, unfold pieces of material they’ve just dyed at a Red Deer College summer science camp Monday. In the experiment designed to mimic the making of blueprints, the boys then stencilled on the cloth and dried them outside in the sun. Red Deer College is offering a host of science camps for children aged 7-14 where they’ll discover the workings of chemistry, biology and physics through hands-on experiments and activities. Places remain available in some of the six weeks of camps and information and registration can be obtained online at www.rdc.ab.ca/continuing_education of by calling 403-357-3663.
