Seven-year-old boy missing from Red Deer home

At about 10:38 a.m. RCMP responded to a missing child complaint in Red Deer's Normandeau neighbourhood.

At about 10:38 a.m. RCMP responded to a missing child complaint in Red Deer’s Normandeau neighbourhood.

The seven-year-old boy, named Winston, was last seen at the residence on Nyman Crescent at 9:45 a.m.

Police have provided the following description for Winston:

• native descent

• 122 centimetres tall (four feet)

• 26 kilograms (58 lbs.)

• short brown hair

• brown eyes

• believed to be wearing dark-coloured swimming trunks

No direction of travel was provided.

Police are continuing their search with the assistance of Red Deer Police Dog Services.

Anyone with information on Winston’s whereabouts is asked to immediately contact the Red Deer RCMP at 403-343-5575.
