Bobby Sharp of Sherwood Park won three matches the capture the Canadian national pro wrestling championship on Saturday at Festival Hall.

Sharp, 24, defeated A.J. Sanchez in the opening round, bested Mentallo in the semifinals and then beat K.C. Andrews in the final.

For Sharp, who began wrestling in Edmonton at the age of 14, his title win marked his 90th match of 2012.
