I am writing this letter concerning Alberta Health and a sleep disorder called sleep apnea.
Statistics say 30 to 40 per cent of Albertans have this disorder.
Treatment is not covered by Alberta Health care.
Anyone who has this disorder and has had to pay for equipment out of their own pocket knows what expense is involved.
So please, if anyone has this disorder or knows of anyone who has it, please call Alberta Health care at 310-000 or 780-427-3665 and ask for it to be covered under the health care.
