Keegan Soehn of the Red Deer Thunder Country Trampoline and Gymnastics Club was named first alternate for Team Canada to compete in the 2012 London Olympic Games.
The 19-year-old finished behind Jason Burnett of Toronto, who won a silver medal at the Beijing Olympics.
Canada will send two women and one man to compete at the Olympics with one man and one women as alternates.

Thunder Country coach Ken Soehn is the alternate coach for the Olympics.
