CALGARY — The sole survivor of a shocking murder-suicide on an Alberta highway has been moved out of the intensive care unit at a Calgary hospital.
A family friend says Shayna Conway is now speaking, breathing on her own and able to move her leg.
Pastor Rob Dale says Conway told him she is determined to get better.
The 21-year-old was shot three times as she was driving a group of friends from Lethbridge to the Calgary airport on Dec. 15.
