Red Deer’s Danielle Wotherspoon, with a time of 40.04 seconds, finished fourth in the women’s division B 500-metre final of a World Cup long track speed skating event Sunday in Harbin, China. Wotherspoon was 24th in the 1000-metre competition, crossing the finish line in 1:21.72. On Saturday, Wotherspoon was fourth in the 500-metre race in 39.91 seconds and 24th in the 1000-metre event in a time of 1:21.28.
