Red Deer’s Danielle Wotherspoon, with a time of 40.04 seconds, finished fourth in the women’s division B 500-metre final of a World Cup long track speed skating event Sunday in Harbin, China.

Wotherspoon was 24th in the 1000-metre competition, crossing the finish line in 1:21.72.
