The 46th annual Red Deer Sportsman and Outdoor Adventure Show is giving enthusiasts a chance to break the winter blues and think about summer for a weekend.

The 46th annual Red Deer Sportsman and Outdoor Adventure Show is giving enthusiasts a chance to break the winter blues and think about summer for a weekend.

The show takes place at Westerner Park on Friday from 4 to 9 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The show features anything outdoor orientated, including guests speakers Real Canadian Joes, The Hunting Chronicles, and Bentley Corbin Wildlife Productions.

Additional attractions include the 2012 Canadian Elk Calling Championships, Kids Magnetic Fish Ponds, VRX Virtual Reality Ride and the Medicine River Wildlife Centre.

The show runs at the Parkland, Prairie and Stockman’s Pavilions. Admission prices range from $8 for adults to $4 for children aged seven to 12.
