Police have arrested a 34-year-old woman two days after a nurse was stabbed multiple times at Red Deer hospital.
Shortly before noon on Friday, a nurse at the hospital was stabbed numerous times in a targeted attack, according to Red Deer City RCMP.
The female stabbing victim is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Police say this was an isolated incident and at no time were other patients at risk.
Meghan Claire Dion, 34, of Red Deer has been charged with attempted murder. She was located and arrested without incident after police received a tip from the public.
