Tamara Steer netted 13 points to lead Triple Threat past the Big Ballers 60-28 in North Star Women’s Basketball League action Monday.

Tamara Steer netted 13 points to lead Triple Threat past the Big Ballers 60-28 in North Star Women’s Basketball League action Monday.

Aimee Sandham scored seven points for the Big Ballers, who fell to 1-1 in Pool B. Triple Threat improved to 2-0.

In another Pool B contest, Shooting Stars (1-1) downed Spare Change (0-1) by a 42-35 count. Details were unavailable.

Meanwhile, Jen Stange dropped in eight points as Collins Barrow defeated The Bank 39-26 in an exhibition outing. Amanda Nhan had 10 points in a losing cause.

Following a modified league schedule the past three weeks, all teams return to action next week.
