Stelmach quitting is a blessing

Alberta has just received a blessing. Premier Ed Stelmach will no longer be our premier next election term.

Alberta has just received a blessing. Premier Ed Stelmach will no longer be our premier next election term.

Finally we are going to get rid of one of the worst premiers Alberta has ever had.

Stelmach and his buddies single-handedly brought the province of Alberta from being the best province in Canada to one of the least ones to live in.

Even though I did not like Premier Ralph Klein, he did leave Alberta in good shape.

So I guess it is time take a step back as Albertans and put our thinking caps on and vote in a responsible way to bring this province back to being the top province in Canada to live and invest in.

Now for whom do you vote for?

I think no matter what party, 30 years or more of one party is a little much.

All, young and older alike, it’s time for change. It is time to take Alberta in a new and better direction — a better direction for all Albertans — those who have, and those who don’t.

In order to have a change, we need the young voters of Alberta to vote. Also vote not to vote just because your grandpa, your dad, etc. voted for a certain party all your life.

Seniors also have to be part of the change. Let go of tradition and vote what is best for you.

One more thing we need to do for change and to think about. There is a saying that we all have forgotten: “For the people, and by the people.” When in time did we forget this? Don’t we as a people elect our political representatives and we are their employer, are we not? When did we as a people work for them?
