A Stettler man arrested on drug charges near Three Hills will go to trial in Drumheller late this year.
Jason George Snodgrass, 37, was arrested by Three Hills RCMP after a vehicle stop on Hwy 21 in February.
Police allege that the officer who had pulled Snodgrass over found 2.4 kg of marijuana in his vehicle. Snodgrass was subsequently charged with possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking.
Snodgrass, no longer in custody, pleaded not guilty in Drumheller provincial court on April 4 and is committed to stand trial there on Dec. 5.
