Newcap Inc. has applied to the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission for approval to move Stettler radio station CKSQ 1400 from the AM to the FM band.
If Newcap is successful the station, which operates as Q14, would revert to 93.3 FM. Its format would remain country.
The deadline for interventions with respect to the application is Oct. 19.
