OLDS — Tanner Labbe scored twice to lead the Grande Prairie Storm to a 5-2 Alberta Junior Hockey League win over the Olds Grizzlys on Saturday.
Hugo Turcotte, Spencer Mault and Jordan McTaggart also tallied for the Storm, who led 2-1 after one period and 4-1 after 40 minutes.
Tanner Dunkle and Ty Morgan accounted for the Grizzlys’ goals before 701 fans at the Sports Complex.
Curtis Skip made 28 saves for Grande Prairie, while Jesse Ehnisz stopped 30 shots for Olds.
The Grizzlys are idle until Friday when they take on the Crusaders at Sherwood Park. Olds visits the Lloydminster Bobcats on Saturday.
The Grizzly’s next home game is Dec. 9 versus the Calgary Canucks.
