Summer Oldstice Festival coming

Join Uptowne Olds members and businesses as they welcome vendors and entertainers at a fun-filled summer celebration on June 23 in Olds. The Summer Oldstice Festival, with a market and entertainers, will be between 50th Street and 52nd Street and along 51st Street.

Join Uptowne Olds members and businesses as they welcome vendors and entertainers at a fun-filled summer celebration on June 23 in Olds.

The Summer Oldstice Festival, with a market and entertainers, will be between 50th Street and 52nd Street and along 51st Street.

This will go from 3 to 8 p.m. Music and entertainment will be set up on a stage in the parking lot near Rexall Drugs on 50th Street and go from 3 to 10 p.m.

Uptowne businesses are encouraged to offer sidewalk sales or special promotions for the event. They are also being encouraged to stay open until 9 p.m. or later.

The festival is calling on all artists, musicians, performers, bakers, growers, food service vendors, handicrafters and more.

Vendor and entertainment applications are available at the Mountain View Museum in Olds or online at www.uptowneoldsalberta.com.

Uptowne Olds members will be offered vendor space at no charge. For non-members, spaces are available for $20.
