The Red Deer Sutter Fund Chiefs posted a 2-1-1 record in the Lacombe bantam A girls’ hockey tournament during the weekend.
The Chiefs took third place with a 2-0 win over Innisfail as Shayna Deary and Brooklyn Zemlak scored once each.
Earlier the Chiefs tied Lacombe 4-4, beat Innisfail 7-1 and lost 4-2 to Leduc.
Caitlin Zemlak, Emily Herman, Erika Marshall and Ashley Richard scored against Lacombe, who got three goals from Shealee Dolan and one from Heather Fodor.
Brooklyn Zemlak connected three times against Innisfail with Marshall, Herman, Megan Phillips and Jenna Levie scoring once each. Breanna Donnelly replied for Innisfail.
Brooklyn Zemlak had both goals against Leduc.
