Kaitlin Swartz of Bentley captured the Grade 6-7 girls’ two-kilometre run at the Hunting Hills Lightning cross-country meet during the weekend.
Hannah Giannioudis and Caleigh Merow of Red Deer were second and third respectively.
Jonathan Tychonick of Calgary won the Grade 6-7 2 km boys’ title ahead of Taylor Sych of Hay Lakes and Jared Bussiere of Ponoka.
