The new Sylvan Lake administration building is getting closer to fruition as a date has been set for the groundbreaking ceremony.
The town is hosting a ceremony on March 28 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Lions Legacy Park on 50th Street and 48th Avenue, with a reception to follow at the Best Western Hotel.
Construction on the $7-million-plus building is slated to start in June on the site of the old RCMP building directly west of the park.
