As Red Deer Symphony Orchestra viola player Dean O’Brien plays, the students and staff of Annie L. Gaetz Elementary listen during an assembly at the school this week. Along with O’Brien, Louise Stuppard and Eva Sztrain played the violin and Janet Kruschak rounded out the quartet as orchestra director Claude Lapalme introduced the musicians, spoke about the symphony and told stories about great composers.
