MEDICINE HAT — A teacher in southwestern Alberta is facing sexual assault charges.
Police say a man was found under -- quote -- “suspicious circumstances” in a car with a 14-year-old girl at a Medicine Hat park on Friday.
Bradley Mastel, who is 32, is charged with sexual assault, sexual interference, sexual exploitation, sexual touching and unlawful confinement.
Investigators say Mastel is a teacher at Parkside School in nearby Redcliff.
He’s been released from custody on a number of conditions and will be in court again on March 6.
