Teams prepare for Saturday zumba marathon

Teams and individuals will do the zumba for three hours on Saturday to raise money for research to end multiple sclerosis.

Zumba is a high-energy Latin dance-inspired fitness class that can include salsa, mambo, hip-hop and martial art moves.

The zumba-thon is sponsored by Dance Magic Studio and the local chapter of the MS Society.

Participants can do zumba for the entire three hours or tag in and out with team members.

The event runs from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday at St. Patrick’s Community School at 300 56 Holt St. in Red Deer.

All proceeds from will be donated to the MS Society — Central Alberta Chapter.
