PORTAGE LA PRAIRIE, Man. — A 17-year-old accused of attempted murder after two explosive devices went off at a Calgary apartment complex has been arrested in Manitoba.

RCMP say the teen, who cannot be identified because of his age, was picked up Monday evening as he stepped off a bus in Portage la Prairie.

He was arrested without incident and is to be transferred back to Calgary.

A Canada-wide warrant remains outstanding for Kyle Robert McKee, who is 24, and also faces charges of attempted murder.

McKee has been quoted in the media as an active neo-Nazi and member of the Aryan Guard, but police say there is no indication the attack was a hate crime.

Investigators say the victims and the suspects know one another and “share similar beliefs and values.”
