A fourteen-year-old boy has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of a man and a woman on a rural property east of Edmonton.

SHERWOOD PARK — A fourteen-year-old boy has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of a man and a woman on a rural property east of Edmonton.

Autopsies were performed on the bodies Tuesday and the medical examiner’s office determined the deaths were the result of homicide.

The grisly discovery began with a traffic complaint of careless driving near a convenience store in north Edmonton early Monday morning.

Edmonton police tracked down two young males from Strathcona County in what is alleged to be a stolen Ford pickup truck.

When RCMP went to notify the owner of the truck, they found a dead man lying in a yard and a dead woman in a trailer on the same property.
