CALGARY — A teenage boy is in hospital after suffering two stab wounds to the abdomen during a confrontation near a Calgary light-rail transit station.

CALGARY — A teenage boy is in hospital after suffering two stab wounds to the abdomen during a confrontation near a Calgary light-rail transit station.

The stabbing happened Tuesday afternoon near the Franklin LRT station in the city’s northeast.

A bus driver reportedly found the teen on the ground.

Police say those responsible for the stabbing fled toward the train station when the driver went to help the victim.

The teen is in serious but stable condition.

Three suspects are in custody, but charges have not been laid.
