A pair of teenagers charged in relation to a shooting incident on the O’Chiese First Nation are to appear in Red Deer Youth Court on Feb. 2.
The two teenagers and 18-year-old Deston Beaverbones face a variety of charges, including uttering death threats, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, reckless discharge of a firearm and break and enter to a residence.
Police were called about 6 a.m. on Jan. 2 to investigate complaints that shots had been fired inside a residence occupied at the time by a number of people, including small children.
Beaverbones and the two youths were arrested and charged.
Beaverbones made his most recent court appearance in Rocky Mountain House on Jan. 11.
