“Not only are we proud to serve our customers every day of the year, our 62 Telus team members in Red Deer are proud to give where we live and do our part to help build a better community for all,” said Fred Weinheimer, general manager for Customer Services Delivery for Alberta South.

For every new Optik TV customer in Red Deer, $100 goes towards the G.H. Dawe Community Centre.

The campaign has raised $250,000 so far.

In total, Telus will invest $650 million in advanced communications technology across Alberta in 2011.
