A Red Deer goldsmith with a love of community is the latest to declare his bid for city council.

Terry Balgobin, owner of Artistry in Gold Design Studio, has lived in Red Deer for more than 30 years. He is active in business and community service organizations including Parkland Community Living and Supports Society (CLASS), Habitat for Humanity, Red Deer East Rotary Club and the Red Deer Leads Executive Association.

“After six years of service as the chairman of Habitat for Humanity, I see city council as an opportunity to continue my service to the community,” said Balgobin in a news release.
