On Wednesday, March 5, we had to come to the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre for a CT scan to determine if my husband had a brain aneurysm.
I circled every possible parking space, navigated between vehicles parked on exit roads, and finally found a short-term stall where I could park.
Explaining my dilemma to a commissionaire, I had permission to stay there.
While trying to use the parking meter, a gracious lady approached and said, “I’m paying for your parking.”
She obtained a full-day parking pass for me.
This unexpected act of kindness was such a lift in the day. I will look for a way to pass on a kindness.
But I hope this lady knows how much her kind words and actions meant to me. This was a beautiful example of a random act of kindness.
