Mamaguroove will be striking up some funk/reggae/world beat music this week in Red Deer.
The Dunster, B.C.-based band will perform on Friday at The Vat. The five-member group, including Seth Macdonald, his wife, Shara Gustafson, and cousin, Chris Chapman, is also influenced by ska, rock and folk.
Mamaguroove has recorded three indie albums and has had tunes played on CBC Radio and CKUA.
