EDMONTON — Two disguised men wielding a machete and fake gun held up a south Edmonton steakhouse, making off with an untold amount of cash as horrified diners watched.
No one was hurt during the incident.
Staff Sgt. Rob Paton says it’s the kind of thing that doesn’t happen often in Edmonton.
Det. Jeff Resler says police are concerned with the level of violence used by the robbers and the fact they carried out their crime with so many customers and staff around.
