Three companies face charges under Environmental Protection Act

Three central Alberta companies are facing environmental charges for allegedly providing false or misleading information regarding contaminated soil from a former gas station site in the town of Daysland.

DAYSLAND — Three central Alberta companies are facing environmental charges for allegedly providing false or misleading information regarding contaminated soil from a former gas station site in the town of Daysland.

Enviro Scan Technologies Inc. and its owner Brian Buoy, Daysland Backhoe and Trucking Ltd. and company co-owners Ted Badry and Mike Mickla, and Daysland Welding Ltd. are facing 14 charges.

The first court appearance is set for June 6 in Edmonton Provincial Court.
