EDGERTON — Three people have been killed in a snowmobile accident south of Edgerton.
RCMP say the crash happened late Wednesday night.
Two people who survived the crash say that four snowmobiles were travelling east in a field and suddenly came upon a six-metre embankment.
All four machines flew off the incline and landed on a highway below.
The trio who were killed died at the scene while the survivors were taken to hospital in nearby Provost.
RCMP say officers on the scene noticed a case of beer strapped to one of the snowmobiles.
