Three shot in Quebec; one in critical condition

Three people have been shot in a house in Quebec’s Laurentians region.

STE-MARGUERITE-DU-LAC-MASSON, Que. — Three people have been shot in a house in Quebec’s Laurentians region.

One person was seriously wounded with life-threatening injuries.

The other two appeared to suffer less serious injuries, despite both being struck with bullets in the chest.

Provincial police say an emergency call was placed just after 11 o’clock this morning.

They say they can’t explain what caused the shooting in the town of Sainte-Marguerite-du-Lac-Masson, just north of Montreal.
