Both Lindsay Thurber teams will see action in the opening games of the annual LTCHS Raiders invitational senior basketball tournament at 3:30 p.m. Friday.
The Raiders face Brooks on the boys’ side in the main gym while the girls take on Leduc in the Bob Albrecht gym.
Other opening round boys’ games sees Salisbury from Sherwood Park clashing with Calgary’s Lester B. Pearson at 5:15 p.m., the Notre Dame Cougars meeting Grande Prairie at 7 p.m. and the Hunting Hills Lightning taking on Leduc at 8:45 p.m.
On the girls’ side, Salisbury and Bishop Grandin of Calgary meet at 5:15 p.m., Sturgeon takes on Notre Dame at 7 p.m. and Hunting Hills faces Grande Prairie at 8:45 p.m.
The semifinals in both divisions go at noon and 1:45 p.m. Saturday with the girls’ final at 7 p.m. and the boys to follow.
