The Lindsay Thurber Jr. Raiders put a cap on an undefeated regular season in the Central Bantam Football League with a 49-0 win over the Stettler Cougars Saturday.

The 6-0 Raiders finished a game up on the Hunting Hills Lightning and Springbank Phoenix, both at 5-1.

The Lightning beat the Strathmore Spartans (0-6) 40-0 while the Phoenix downed the 1-5 Notre Dame Cougars 40-8.

The Lacombe Raiders and Olds Bulldogs came in at 4-2.

Lacombe beat the Rocky Mountain House Jr. Rebels (3-3) 40-6 and Olds stopped the 3-3 Drumheller Titans 49-30.

In the other action the 3-3 Sylvan Lake Lions beat the 0-6 Wetaskiwin Warriors 62-6.

Liam Hoven scored four touchdowns for the Lions while Andreas Knietl had two touchdowns and kicked six two-point converts.

Korey Prediger and Kolby Gress added touchdowns and Evan Lewis had a one-point convert. A punt single accounted for the other Sylvan Lake point. Zach Ayotte had the Wetaskiwin touchdown.

The league A-side quarter-finals go Saturday with the Titans meeting LTCHS, the Lions taking on the Lightning, Rocky facing Springbank and Olds clashing with Lacombe.
