Time has come for for-profit health care

I’ve always been opposed to for-profit health care — until now.I injured my right knee in November 2013. It was one of those stupid, preventable accidents. They usually are. It can be made better but my knee will never be the same.

I’m on two wait lists for surgery, with no promises. I’ve been told it’s not the number of orthopedic surgeons, but the number of beds.

I would gladly get a bank loan to pay for the procedure in a private medical clinic. Is anyone else feeling the same?
