Time left to nominate for heritage preservation

Forms can be picked up at the City of Red Deer Culture Services Centre at 3827 39th St. and the Red Deer County office just west of the Hwy 2/32nd Street overpass.

They can also be found online at www.reddeer.ca/culture, or at http://rdcounty.ca.

The City of Red Deer Heritage Preservation Committee has introduced a new category that recognizes non-professional youth under the age of 25, who have made special contributions to heritage. A complete description of the award categories is included with the nomination form.

On June 22 at Old Timers Pioneer Lodge, a gala will honour the projects and volunteers who work to preserve and promote Red Deer area heritage.
