A toddler struck by a vehicle was airlifted from Stettler to Alberta Children’s Hospital in Calgary on Saturday afternoon.

Cam Heke, spokesperson with STARS air ambulance, said a helicopter was dispatched from Calgary to Stettler Airport shortly after 3:30 p.m.

“The patient was brought to the airport by ground EMS,” Heke said on Monday.

Heke only knew that the child was under five years old and did not have an update on the child’s condition.
