Alberta has introduced legislation that will make it one of the last provinces in Canada to enshrine gay rights in its human rights code.
NDP Leader Brian Mason says it’s shameful that Alberta had to be dragged “kicking and screaming” by the courts to enshrine sexual orientation in human rights legislation.
