As chair of the local organizing committee for the Innisfail to Red Deer Stage of the Tour of Alberta 2014, I would like to extend my thanks to the many people who made this event possible.

Thanks so much to the members of our local organizing committee; your hard work and dedication were crucial to the success of the day.

Thank you to all our great volunteers; you were ready to jump in wherever you were needed with a cheerful, can-do attitude. We really appreciate all you did in the preparation stage, for the ongoing festival events, during the race, and in the cleanup process.

Thanks also to all the spectators who came out to share the excitement and make this such a fun event. Central Albertans really know how to do things right!

It was a great day — perfect weather and an exciting stage with a classic sprint finish.

Thanks again to everyone who took part in the Central Alberta Stage of the Tour of Alberta.
