City of Red Deer customer service agent Beth McLachlan holds up one of 126 toys donated to date for the City of Red Deer's annual Toys For Tickets campaign.

The campaign, which accepts toy donations in place of violators paying their parking tickets, winds up this week with Friday being the last day donations will be accepted.

"It's all about giving back to the community," said Fred Dieno, parking co-ordinator.

The program has been a huge success with over 3,000 toys collected since it started.

All toys collected will go to the Red Deer Christmas Bureau to help in meeting its goal that no child wakes up without a toy on Christmas morning.
