Two of the more unusual Trailer Park Boys characters (and that’s saying something) are bringing their comic schtick to Red Deer’s Quality Inn this week.

Mr. Lahey and his devoted “longtime companion” Randy will be sharing their unique perspectives with an audience at the former North Hill Inn on Saturday night.

Jim Lahey (John Dunsmore) is a deranged trailer park supervisor who was wrongly dismissed as a result of a prank by Julian, Ricky and Bubbles. The former police officer, who peppers his speech with expletives, somehow got his trailer park job back after deciding “that’s where he really belongs.”

His assistant and partner Randy (Patrick Roach), is a cheeseburger-loving former male prostitute who never wears a shirt. Out of Christian charity, Jim’s then-wife Barbara invited Randy to temporarily bunk with the Laheys in 1997. And the rest is history.
