Two men facing multiple charges after shots allegedly fired at truck

Two Red Deer men are facing dangerous driving and firearms charges after shots were allegedly fired on Aug. 12.

Two Red Deer men are facing dangerous driving and firearms charges after shots were allegedly fired on Aug. 12.

Blackfalds RCMP say a man reported that he was following two male suspects in a truck and they shot at him around 9:30 a.m.

The incident began west of Red Deer in rural Blackfalds through to Burnt Lake Industrial Area. Shortly after police arrested the suspects just inside the City of Red Deer in the Golden West area.

The two men are facing charges of dangerous driving, possession of a firearm, assault with a weapon and numerous other firearms/weapons offences.

Both men remain in custody. They appear in court this month.

These matters are now before the courts and further information will not be available.
